Bye Aerospace was named a winner in one of the top small business size categories by the Denver Business Journal at the 2018 Small Business Awards.

Bye Aerospace Receives Small Business of the Year Award
George Bye, CEO and Founder of Bye Aerospace, accepted the award. “What an incredible honor to be recognized in this way,” he said.
“One of the qualities I believe a small business must have is tenacity, and we have proven that patience, hard work and the belief in what you are doing are essential. My personal thanks to our entire team and to Wells Fargo for nominating the company for this award.”

Bye Aerospace, headquartered at Centennial Airport south of Denver, designs and builds advanced electric aircraft products for general aviation, aerospace and defense, near-space and atmospheric satellite markets.
A prototype for the 2-seat Sun Flyer, primarily targeted to the flight training market, had its first flight April 10. The company is also developing a family of advanced, high-altitude, long-endurance solar-electric unmanned aerial vehicles called “StratoAirNet” and “Solesa.”

Bye Aerospace won the “small business” size category.
