Ideagen, the UK-based, global software firm, will take part in HK Express’ “Safety Leadership Sharing Workshop” with representatives from other airlines and aviation professionals.
HK Express’ “Safety Leadership Sharing Workshop”
The company’s Steven Cespedes will present an overview of Ideagen’s ongoing safety project with HK Express
The workshop is the inaugural event of the “Safety Week”, an initiative of the Hong Kong-based airline designed to introduce the best practices of modern safety management and continuously cultivate safety culture amongst its staff.
“Safety is one of our core values at HK Express,” said Roger Lee, Director of Quality, Safety and Security of HK Express. “The Safety Week aims to foster safety culture development across the company as well as provide an understanding of the behavioural set required of a safety member in the aviation industry.”
Ideagen is one of the supporters of the workshop – which takes place on Monday, November 5th – and will present to delegates a short joint-presentation with SARA, a Flight Data Analysis system specialist, to explain how both organisations have been working together with HK Express to enhance flight safety and safety management.
Steven Cespedes, Head of Aviation at Ideagen, (pictured left) said: “The aviation industry is renowned the world over for its willingness to share best practice and promote collaboration.
“We are absolutely delighted to support the inaugural event, and look forward to presenting to delegates on our successful project with HK Express.”
In 2017, HK Express implemented Ideagen’s Coruson software to enhance safety, security and quality management. In doing so, it became the first airline in North Asia to adopt the software.
In January this year, HK Express was named one of the 10 safest low-cost carriers in the world once more in a study by AirlineRatings.com and several months later successfully renewed its IOCA certificate.
