Skyborne adds 30 eFlyers to Bye Aerospace order book

Bye Aerospace, a leading player in the sustainable electric aviation sector, is thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to its growing success. Skyborne Airline Academy, recognized as one of the world’s top pilot training institutions, has recently committed to acquiring an additional 30 eFlyer aircraft, thereby substantially increasing their total commitment to 40 aircraft.

Skyborne Airline Academy Boosts Commitment with Order of 30 Additional Bye Aerospace eFlyer Aircraft

This recent order represents a noteworthy milestone, as the combined order book for the eFlyer 2 and eFlyer 4 aircraft now stands at 889 units, with an estimated total value of $570 million. The overall order book for Bye Aerospace’s comprehensive aviation lineup now surpasses $1.4 billion.

Skyborne Airline Academy has joined an exclusive league of premier aviation training companies worldwide, acknowledging the commercial and environmental benefits of Bye Aerospace’s groundbreaking eFlyer aircraft over traditional fuel-based alternatives. The eFlyer series incorporates state-of-the-art all-electric propulsion technology and a purpose-designed airframe that offers up to 80% lower flight operating costs compared to conventional trainers.

This innovation enables top-tier flight training organizations like Skyborne to provide superior training without the financial burden of high fuel expenses, while also contributing to a cleaner environment with no carbon emissions, no lead, and minimal noise. The advanced aerodynamics, combined with a robust yet lightweight composite structure, ensure unparalleled performance, safety, and efficiency.

Bye Aerospace stands notably ahead of other electric aircraft programs in its class when it comes to design, performance, and certification. The plan is to manufacture serial number 001 within the next twelve months, with full FAA certification expected in 2025, paving the way for immediate customer deliveries thereafter.
