FREQUENTIS, a global leader in communication and information solutions for safety-critical applications, is pleased to announce the appointment of Reinhard Grimm as the new Executive Vice President ATM Civil, effective July 1, 2024. Reinhard Grimm will succeed Hannu Juurakko, who is retiring after years of dedicated service to the company.
FREQUENTIS Welcomes Reinhard Grimm as New Executive Vice President ATM Civil
In his new role, Reinhard Grimm will be responsible for overseeing the worldwide ATM civil business of the Frequentis Group. With a career spanning over 25 years in the IT and telecommunications industry, Reinhard Grimm brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the position. He has held various leadership positions, including Managing Director of Frequentis Germany and Director of the Frequentis Business Unit Public Safety.
Reinhard Grimm’s international experience includes working for Siemens Convergence Creators in Vienna, Los Angeles, and Hamburg, where he built up a local subsidiary focusing on Over The Top (OTT) Multimedia Solutions and LTE technology for local telecom providers. In Hamburg, he led a global business unit in the aviation and passenger infotainment domain.
Reinhard Grimm holds a master’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree from Austria’s University of Applied Sciences for Technology and Digitalization. He also completed a doctorate in organizational development, further enhancing his qualifications for his new role.
Hannu Juurakko, who joined Frequentis in 2013, has played a pivotal role in the strategic and commercial development of the ATM civil business. His retirement marks the end of a successful tenure, and the company is grateful for his contributions.
