Passenger traffic at Toulouse-Blagnac airport increased by 3.9% in the month of June, with 886,045 passengers recorded. Domestic traffic remained stable (-0.1%), international traffic was up 8.2% accounting for 48.9% of total traffic.

PASSENGERS
Domestic traffic: 448,756 passengers (-0.1%).
Traffic to Paris has dropped slightly (-1.8%), with similar trends between Paris-Orly (-1.8%, 221,580 passengers) and Paris-CDG (-1.7%, 79,325 passengers).
Regionally, traffic in rising (+3.5%, 147,851 passengers) and increases were recorded for the majority of destinations.
The destinations that saw the strongest growth were Caen (+112.4%, 3,785 passengers), Figari (+46.9%, 3,852 passengers) and Rennes (+19.6%, 8,827 passengers).
International traffic: 430,276 passengers (+8.2%).
The Schengen area (66.3% of traffic) continues on an upward trend (+6.1%, 285,137 passengers), as does the most popular destination, Madrid (+12.9%, 32,371 passengers).
The destinations that saw the strongest growth were
– Palma (+67.7%, 8,449 passengers),
– Porto (+54.2%, 9,249 passengers),
– Seville (+50.3%, 4,567 passengers).
Outside the Schengen area (+5%, 97,700 passengers), London remains the predominant destination (+7.7%) with 67,304 passengers split among four airports:
– London-Gatwick (+1.6%, 26,470 passengers),
– London-Heathrow (+9.8%, 21,427 passengers),
– London-Stansted (+10.5%, 13,798 passengers)
– London-Luton (+27.8%, 5,609 passengers).
Outside the United Kingdom, two destinations in particular attracted travellers:
– Dubrovnik (+33%, 1,892 passengers)
– Split (+12.7%, 1,546 passengers).
Traffic to North Africa is growing (+30.8%), with strong increases for Tunisia (+55.2%, 7,883 passengers), Morocco (+32.4%, 15,117 passengers) and Algeria (+15.5%, 10,670 passengers).
Good passenger numbers have also been recorded for Istanbul (+31.5%, 6,807 passengers) and Montreal (+22.8%, 6,196 passengers).
Charter traffic
Charter traffic accounts for 3.1% of international traffic, with 13,193 passengers.
FREIGHT and POSTAL TRAFFIC
Freight and postal traffic is up (+2%) with 6,837 tonnes handled.
COMMERCIAL AIRCRAFT MOVEMENTS
The number of movements is down (-4.2%), with 8,055 movements recorded. The average passenger load per flight increased (120 passengers) compared to that of June 2017 (110 passengers).
