Traffic at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport increased by 1.8% in August, with 806,974 passengers recorded. Domestic traffic, up by 3.7% compared with August 2017, represented 36.3% of traffic; international traffic (+0.3%) accounted for 63.7% of total traffic.

Domestic traffic: 290,078 passengers (+3.7%)
Traffic to the capital increased (+1.4%), due to the Paris-Orly route (+4.5%, 105,407 passengers), which offset the decline in traffic to Paris-CDG (-2.8%, 73,299 passengers).
Regionally, traffic maintained good growth (+7.7%, 111,372 passengers) with positive results for the majority of destinations. The destinations that recorded the strongest growth were Rennes (+25.9%, 6,879 passengers), Figari (+17.1%, 9,334 passengers) and Lyon (+13.2%, 23,027 passengers).
International traffic: 509,632 passengers (+0.3%)
The Schengen area (62.9% of this traffic) recorded growth of 2.2% (320,476 passengers). Amsterdam was the leading destination in August, with an increase of 1.3% (29,320 passengers). The destinations that saw the strongest growth were Cagliari (+81.1%, 2,371 passengers), Santorini (+75.8%, 2,929 passengers) and Palermo (+53.5%, 5,287 passengers).
Outside the Schengen area (-5.5%, 118,367 passengers), London still holds the majority share despite a drop of 5.6% with 84,384 passengers split among four airports: London-Gatwick (-7.3%, 32,407 passengers), London-Heathrow (-5.7%, 25,703 passengers), London-Stansted (-0.7%, 20,920 passengers) and London-Luton (-12%, 5,354 passengers).
Traffic to North Africa took a downturn (-3.6%), with mixed results for Tunisia (+4.6%, 10,938 passengers), Morocco (+3.9%, 22,286 passengers) and Algeria (-15%, 18,316 passengers).
Charter traffic accounted for 2.3% of international traffic, with 11,619 passengers.
FREIGHT and POSTAL TRAFFIC
Freight and postal traffic is down (-35.3%) with 3,005 tonnes handled.
