The Brazilian industry is gearing up to showcase its investments in the development and enhancement of new technologies aimed at ensuring safer flights globally.
Setting the Stage at Airspace World
IACIT has confirmed its participation at the 2024 edition of Airspace World, set to take place at the Palexpo Exhibition Centre in Geneva, Switzerland, from March 19th to 21st. This prestigious international event, organized by CANSO (Civil Air Navigation Services Organization), serves as a platform for key leaders, specialists, and investors from the international aviation industry to convene and deliberate on the future of global air navigation.
Unveiling High-Tech Solutions
At booth K08, IACIT will unveil its comprehensive portfolio of high-tech solutions and services, honed over more than 37 years of experience in the sector. Notable highlights include the RMT 0200 Weather Radar, designed for detecting meteorological phenomena over long distances, and the DME 0200 (Distance Measuring Equipment), a Brazilian innovation supporting spatial location in air navigation and Performance-Based Navigation (PBN), serving as a backup for GPS navigation.
Addressing Aviation Security Challenges
Among the showcased solutions is the DRONEBLOCKER, an electronic countermeasure system devised to detect and neutralize drone presence at airports. IACIT actively engages in addressing aviation security challenges, with a dedicated focus on combating unauthorized drone incursions. Through comprehensive systems for sensing, situational awareness, and blocking, IACIT endeavors to mitigate threats to aviation security.
Introducing Ground-Breaking Technology
The event will also serve as a platform for IACIT to introduce its Ground-Based Augmentation System (GBAS), offering differential corrections and integrity monitoring of GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System). This technology facilitates precise airport approach procedures, equipping system operators with accurate information. Additionally, GBAS enables noise reduction, flight time and fuel savings, and more efficient routes, thereby expediting the implementation of new routes with streamlined system configurations.
Anticipation and Enthusiasm
Bruno Vicente, Executive of International Sales at IACIT, expresses his enthusiasm for the company’s participation in Airspace World 2024. He underscores the event as the premier global platform for manned and unmanned airspace management, where innovators and technology owners converge to chart the course for the sector’s future.
As IACIT gears up to showcase its advancements and contributions to the aviation industry at Airspace World, anticipation is high for the unveiling of cutting-edge solutions aimed at ensuring the safety and efficiency of air travel worldwide.
